NC Air Awareness “Drive Less” 60 sec Radio

SFX: Music from the radio and the quiet hum of the interior of a luxury car. The horn beeps.
Camilla: Ugh, I’m trying to drive here! What on earth is he thinking?!
Edgar: First of all, he’s a cyclist, Camilla, and secondly, he’s probably thinking that if our little caravan did it’s share and carpooled, then there’d be 40 less pounds of pollution in the air.
Camilla: That’s ridiculous, Edgar.
Edgar: No Camilla, 6 people going to dinner in 3 cars is ridiculous. Our daughter Jeannie’s asthma is actually aggravated by people like us, my dear.
Camilla: I am NOT a bad mother, Edgar.
Edgar: Cam, no one said…
Camilla: Who’s your authority on the 40 pounds of bad air, Ed?!
Edgar: NC Air Awareness, honey. Their motto is THINK ACT BREATHE. Cam, are we okay.
Camilla: Hmph.
SFX: Camilla spins the car around and brings it to a screeching halt. She yells out the window to Fred and Gunter.
Camilla: Yo Fred, Gunter! Pull over! We’re all going in the same car! We’re the reason Jeannie can’t breathe!
Edgar: Cam, are you okay?
Camilla: I think I can do my part and take down about 200 pounds of bad air by the end of next week if I beef up the carpooling circle at Jeannie’s school. What do you think?
Edgar: Uh, sure hon, yeah...
Camilla: (yelling over Edgar’s last line and the tag) Come on you guys! Move it let’s go. We got too many cars on the road…!
