HEXstream Webinar: A Deep Dive Into UAIDP (Formerly OUDI)
In a few weeks, we're gathering our own Jamal Syed, HEXstream CEO, and Jason Kriendler, Oracle director of product development—enterprise analytics, for a deep dive into the Oracle Utilities AI Data Platform (formerly OUDI) recently co-developed by our two teams.
Today we connect with the two presenters for a quick preview of that presenation. Take a look...
Q: How does artificial intelligence empower OUDI and what capabilities does that create?
Jamal: OUDI's built-in AI and ML capabilities now enable comprehensive analytics for customers, including historical, predictive and prescriptive analysis. The best part is that utilities can now bring their own advanced analytics use cases and take advantage of the AI engine in OUDI.
Jason: AI and OUDI is an interesting topic. The foundation of data science is data. And ultimately, OUDI is first and foremost about unifying Oracle Utilities data into a common data platform and augmenting it with data from non-Oracle data sources. Once your data is unified, AI—and more importantly the outcomes AI will enable—becomes exponentially easier. This will enable both Oracle and our customers to build powerful AI models. This multi-faceted delivery model provides significant flexibility and value for our customers and partners.
Q: What most excites you about OUDI?
Jamal: What excites me most about OUDI is its ability to merge both operational and back-office data from Oracle and non-Oracle systems in one platform for truly comprehensive enterprise analytics. I am eager to see how utilities capitalize on these new abilities, and the wins that result from those projects.
Jason: I’m excited to see our customers, with the help of partners like HEXstream, leverage OUDI to deliver outcomes across data sets that have historically been virtually impossible to solve. It sounds cliché, but OUDI will truly unlock the potential of our customers’ data.
