HEXstream's Satish Saini Moonlighting With The United Nations
HEXstream is thrilled to note that our own Utilities Industry Specialist Satish Saini has been chosen to lead the United Nation's Energy Efficiency Working Group, developing applications of innovative technologies and solutions for utilities, focused on transmission and distribution, along with supply-demand balance, demand-side management, DR and load response.
As a member of the Advisory Council to the United Nations Secretary General on Energy Transition, and leader of the Energy Efficiency Working Group, Satish will advise on technologies and policies on a global level.
"I am honored by this selection and excited to help this group guide the UN toward smarter energy transition to achieve 2050 net-zero targets. This work informs our projects at HEXstream, just as my work with HEXstream informs projects such as this," Satish said.
In his role with HEXstream, Satish’s focus is on utilities’ use of AI and data analytics to boost efficiency, and employing digital technologies for utility and grid transformations.
"We're thrilled for our colleague's success with the United Nations and know he will bring tremendous value to the UN's Working Group, just as he does to the HEXstream team," added Jamal Syed, HEXstream president and CEO.
